The tutorials are intended to give you an opportunity to learn the fundamentals and practical applications of chemical biology. Additionally, the one-on-one interview sessions will allow you to talk with professors with diverse expertise, and connect with them in person. These sessions promise to be both informative and exciting!

On the Event Day

  • Please come to the Voyage Restaurant (Level 1) for registration and enjoy a complimentary lunch with ACBI professors.

  • Registration and lunch will be from 12:00-13:30 on January 19th.

  • After lunch, proceed to Jaune A&B (Level 2) for the tutorials and interviews scheduled from 13:30 to 16:50.

Tips for Students

  • No Paper Printouts

    • Only your name tag will be provided at the venue. Please download the professors’ CVs and other resources from the event website in advance, or access them online as needed during the event.

  • Interview Assignments

    • You are assigned to speak with 6–8 professors during the interview sessions. Check the interview orders carefully to see which professors you’ll be meeting.

  • Be Open-Minded

    • You may not be assigned to all the professors on your wishlist. Regardless, approach the sessions with an open mind and enjoy engaging with professors from diverse backgrounds. Take the opportunity to learn what drives their passion for the exciting field of chemical biology by asking thoughtful questions.

    • Prepare a few questions to ask professors by reviewing their CVs and websites — Asking questions shows your enthusiasm and helps you gain more from the conversation.

  • Make the Most of Lunch & Break

    • Lunch and coffee break are free for all student candidates. Use this time to connect with as many ACBI professors as possible. These informal interactions can provide valuable insights and leave a lasting impression.
